Travis Batt, CEO and President of Batt Industries, started and managed a niche market business in 1998. The Batt Cave Public Darkroom was located on Mill Avenue in downtown Tempe across from the Nelson Fine Art Center and ASU’s Gammage auditorium. The facility allowed for anyone to pay per hour or on a monthly basis to custom print color and black and white photographs. After the second year of growth, the lab expanded into the suite next door by opening a Fine Art Gallery. Monthly art shows primarily exhibited local photography and fine artwork.

Travis Batt has traveled to 47 of the 50 United States and nine European countries enhancing his experience in professional photography. Neil Young, The Grateful Dead and Senator John McCain are a few people that he has had the opportunity to photograph.

Batt graduated with a Bachelor’s in Visual Communications from Collins College in 1998. He has worked with various digital imaging, sign and marketing companies located in Phoenix and surrounding areas.
